CHILD AUDITION CALL

The Forbidden Phoenix

The Citadel Theatre is accepting resumes and headshots for the role of “The Phoenix’s Daughter” in The Forbidden Phoenix.

We are looking for young female actors between 10 and 13 years of age.

Please note: the child must be available for every audition and every performance. Performances for this show will be mainly during school hours, so a significant amount of classroom time will be missed.

The audition on Monday, September 8, 2008 will consist of one song of the child’s choice, which can be performed a cappella or accompanied by a CD. There will not be an accompanist present.

Child must be available for the following dates:

• Rehearsal begins in Edmonton on Monday, October 20, 2008
• Opens in Edmonton Saturday October 25, 2008
• Closes Sunday, November 9, 2008
• For this role only, the child’s parent or guardian will need to be present for all rehearsals and performances.
