The Foote Theatre School is the educational wing of the Citadel Theatre.
We offer the largest theatre education program in Edmonton and one of the largest in Canada.

	Our classes provide: An excellent instructor to student ratio Instruction from experienced theatre professionals and educators Great facilities with well-equipped studios and access to the Citadel’s performance spaces A structured curriculum with the Fall Term focused on skills and the Winter Term focused on rehearsal Potential audition opportunities: our students have appeared in many Citadel mainstage productions, as well as the Citadel’s annual Teens @ the Turn Festival

2008/2009 Fall & Winter Classes

Classes are available for ages 6 and up, including adults and professional artists.
We have six Divisions:

JUNIOR DIVISION	AGES 6 – 10
INTERMEDIATE DIVISION	AGES 11 – 12
SENIOR DIVISION	AGES 13 - 19
ADVANCED	AGES 15 – 19
ADULT DIVISION	All classes for ages 18 and up

Foote Theatre School Payment, Registration and Cancellation policies

Full payment must be made at the time of registration. We do not take registration over the phone. Registration is available by mail, fax or online.

Cancellations by the student (or parent/guardian) seven days or less before your first class will receive a full refund less a $50.00 handling fee.

Cancellations after your first class will receive a full refund less an $80.00 handling and teaching fee. There will be no refunds available after that time.

The Foote Theatre School reserves the right to cancel any class with insufficient enrolment. In that event, a full refund will be provided or we will try to place the student in another class.

Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis (with the exception of classes open only by audition). Once a class is full, registrants will be placed on a waiting list in the order they are received.

All Theatre School classes are age and skill specific. Please read the age limits carefully.

Any exceptions to age limits or application procedures must be approved by the Theatre School Director.
