Welcome to the Foote Theatre School at the Citadel — Edmonton’s oldest and largest Theatre School and an excellent place to play, learn, grow and create for people of all ages and abilities.

The Foote Theatre School is dedicated to offering the best in theatre education in Edmonton and we are growing, again! We’ve added a Musical Theatre class for younger students ages 8 and 9, an extra Teen Musical Theatre class and a new Level II class for our Acting for the Camera students. All of our regular popular classes are back, in acting and musical theatre for all ages, all taught by some of the finest theatrical talents in Edmonton.

Our joy, and great gift, as instructors is passing on the craft we’re so passionate about and nurturing creative talents. We’re equally passionate about this whether our students are at the very beginning of their journey or continuing a path of lifelong learning. So, I hope that whatever part of that journey you are on, you’ll join us this year at the Foote Theatre School and the Citadel.
