Special Programs
Preview Performances
Before a play officially “opens”, preview audiences provide the cast and crew with valuable feedback as they appear before a live audience for the first time. Order your tickets for a preview and you’ll be the first to see the production plus you’ll be rewarded with savings of up to 24%.
Opening Nights
Experience the anticipation by being in the audience on Opening Night at the Citadel. After the performance, join the cast and crew for a post-show celebration.
Talk Back Tuesdays
Live theatre is an exchange between audience and artist, but it doesn’t have to end with the curtain call. Join us on the second Tuesday of each of our Mainstage and Rice Series plays to engage in a post-show discussion with members of the cast and special guests. More information
Saturday Matinee Pre-Show Chats
There’s more to Super Saver Saturdays than savings. Forty-five minutes prior to the start of our Saturday matinees, join Citadel Theatre staff, artists, and special guests for a presentation — about the theatre, about art, about the production currently playing on the Citadel stage. Pre-Show Chats are a great way to learn about the theatre.
Maclab Enterprises Students Club
Students Club is a subscription program for junior and senior high school students who attend the six plays in our Mainstage Series. Club members are treated to a light supper before the play, interactive pre-show presentations about various aspects of theatre, talk backs with cast members following the performance, and more. More information
Club Friday
If you are 18 to 29 years old, you can save by subscribing to the first Friday performance of our Mainstage and Rice Series plays. Stay after the performance to meet, mix, and mingle with Citadel Theatre artists. Club members receive additional ticket discounts at the Citadel and other theatres/venues around town — great for introducing friends to the theatre! More information
Seniors Club
Lunch, camaraderie, and informative presentations — all before attending the performance itself! Seniors Club members are the Citadel Theatre’s special guests prior to the Thursday matinee performance of each play in our Mainstage Series.
