The Citadel Theatre, one of Canada’s largest and busiest professional, not-for-profit theatre companies and facilities, is currently seeking Bartenders. Reporting directly to Bar Manager, the Bartender plays a crucial role by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the seamless operation of bar services at the Citadel Theatre. The primary responsibility of this position is to mix and serve beverages, maintain a clean environment, and coordinate with other departments to enhance the patron experience, ensuring compliance with regulations and supporting the overall success of the organization.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensure the highest possible level of customer service to all patrons visiting the Citadel Theatre.
- Pour and mix cocktails, beer and wine in accordance with Citadel training and recipes.
- Use a Point-of-Sale system to process transactions, run reports and maintain inventory with a high level of accuracy.
- Ensure a meticulously clean environment before, during and after service.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of product and specs to a standard which allows consistent execution and accurate communication to patrons.
- Perform opening and end of day procedures.
- Have a thorough knowledge of the Citadel’s external policies to properly answer patron questions.
- Work closely with the rest of the Hospitality and other departments to coordinate bar service for Citadel performances and rental events to ensure the best patron experience possible.
- Work closely with Bar team members to ensure all daily, weekly and monthly duties are performed.
- Adhere to and enforce Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission and associated laws, regulations and policies relating but not limited to the service of alcohol.
- Troubleshoot any problems that may arise.
- Ensures security of company assets.
- Other duties as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in hospitality
- Up-to-date ProServe Certification.
- Skills:
