The Citadel Theatre, one of Canada’s largest and busiest professional, not-for-profit theatre companies and facilities, is currently seeking a Human Resources Administrator. Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Administrator is responsible for maintaining employee satisfaction and organizational efficiency by handling day-to-day HR tasks and administrator duties and supporting the overall success of the organization. This role plays a crucial role by supporting the HR department and the entire organization by tracking and maintaining employee-related documentation, recruitment and hiring processes, benefits information, and general HR compliance.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job vacancies, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Administer the onboarding process for new team members, which includes preparing and sending paperwork, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment history, performance evaluations, and training records.
- Responsible for processing employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans. This includes enrolling new hires in benefits plans and facilitating changes or updates as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations related to employment.
- Assist with handling employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances.
- Assist in the preparation of HR reports and analytics to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Performing various administrative tasks to support the HR department, such as filing paperwork, or managing correspondence.
- Collaborating with the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll. This would include providing back-up coverage to our current Payroll Administrator.
- Other duties as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or other related field of study from a post-secondary institution.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in HR or related field.

Salary Rage: $50,000 – $60,000 per year.
