GOING SOLO

March 30 – April 2, 2023

A celebration of singers who left the band to find success on their own! Diana Ross, Paul Simon, Lauryn Hill, Beyoncé, Paul McCartney, Sting, Harry Styles and Stevie Nicks. Just like Frankie Valli, many lead singers have dared to march to their own beat and have forged astonishing musical careers as solo acts. Starring Edmonton’s Jameela McNeil and Farren Timoteo (Jersey Boys), this genre-bending concert will feature songs by an incredible variety of pop, folk, country, soul and R&B artists that topped the charts by going solo!

TOQUE: Songs for a Canadian Winter

December 1 – 3, 2022

Grab your mitts and join Vancouver’s Ben Elliott (from The Citadel’s Matilda and As You Like It) for a truly Canadian cabaret of music and stories from artists that invoke our Great White North and the magic of winter. The snow will be falling on the Rice Theatre, but you’ll be cozy as we dive into jazz, pop, country, folk and traditional favourites with a frosty twist! Featuring work from legends like Joni Mitchell, Bruce Cockburn, Sarah McLachlan and more. Performed by Ben with an incredible lineup of local artists, this extraordinary event will leave your heart soaring.

UPTOWN GIRLS

January 5 – 8, 2023

  • An All-Women Tribute to Billy Joel and Elton John

This all-women band promises to provide a fresh take on iconic hits, such as Crocodile Rock, Benny and the Jets, Candle in the Wind, Piano Man, New York State of Mind, Honesty and many, many more! Join Patricia Zentilli (Mamma Mia, 9 to 5: The Musical), Ruth Alexander (Once, A Christmas Carol), Chariz Faulmino (A Christmas Carol, Almost a Full Moon), and Jameela McNeil (As You Like It, The Color Purple) as they bring the house down!
