The Citadel Theatre, one of Canada’s largest and busiest professional, not-for-profit theatre companies, has an opening for part-time Guest Services Representative. This is a part-time role with eligibility to work up to 24 hours per week.
The Guest Services Representative (GSR) plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional experience for all visitors at the Citadel Theatre. This position is responsible for ticket sales, class registrations, package bookings, and donation processing. The GSR liaises with the public and the Theatre’s guests and ensures that they experience the highest level of customer service. The GSR is a front-line, guest-facing role and will assist in making sales targets, KPIs, and with the overall operation and maintenance of the Box Office.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all guests of the Citadel Theatre by providing prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable assistance regarding productions, programs, the venue, and surrounding area.
- Use Ticketing CRM (Tessitura) to assist guests in their ticketing, registration, and donation transactions.
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective and current customers to sell packages and/or tickets to prospective and returning patrons.
- Assist Guest Services Supervisors and management with all aspects of sales campaigns and project, as well as performing administrative duties as required,
- Support the theatre’s sales targets and KPIs by executing seasonal and ongoing sales campaigns as directed by management.
- Maintain accurate guest records and perform daily administrative tasks using Tessitura and other internal systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
- Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, including verbal and written communication.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using Tessitura, or another ticketing CRM.
- Experience with cash handling.
- Experience processing credit card transactions with integrity.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Availability that allows for a variety of shifts including weekday, weekend, evening, and statutory holidays as needed.
Hours: Part-Time, up to 24 hours per week
Hourly Rate of Pay: $19.19 per hour
