With a belief that all individuals should have the opportunity to experience, appreciate, and participate in live theatre, School Matinees are offered to school groups from Edmonton and surrounding communities, to share our passion for theatre. School Matinees are available for many of the productions in our season.
If you are looking for a different option for your school group, please find more information on our Group Tickets section.
Students Club, sponsored by Canada Life, offers a unique glimpse into the world of professional theatre to a wide range of local junior and senior high school students. Includes the six Mainstage productions, a pre-show workshop and talk-back with the cast and crew after the show.
We offer a wide variety of virtual workshops for your students! Designed specifically for Zoom, these 60 to 90 minute sessions stream straight into your classroom and are led by industry professionals. You can choose from the following topics, or ask about something different!
- Stage Combat
No matter your subject of focus, we have a workshop for your students! Not teaching Drama or English? We like to think outside the box when tying theatre to curriculum – our technicians and designers use math, science, and physics every day to help bring stories to life onstage.
To inquire about booking a workshop, please fill out the form below. If you have any questions, please contact Luc Tellier, Director of Education and Outreach, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Unfortunately we are not offering in-person school workshops at this time.
#WritesofPassage is a chance for Junior High and High School students to write an original play and have it workshopped and developed by professional playwrights and actors.
