The Citadel Theatre, one of Canada’s largest and busiest professional, not-for-profit theatre companies and facilities, is currently seeking new members to join our Board of Directors.
Located in the heart of Edmonton’s Arts District, the Citadel Theatre is one of the largest not-for-profit theatres in North America. Our expansive cultural hub features five versatile performance and event venues, welcoming more than 250,000 guests each season. We produce up to 11 productions each season, including our beloved annual presentation of A Christmas Carol, and welcome more than 130,000 audience members to these performances. The Citadel is also home to the Foote Theatre School, where over 1,000 students each year engage in classes, workshops, and performances that spark imagination, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love of theatre.
We are seeking members who will share our vision and will work to support the Executive Director and Artistic Director in fulfilling the 2025-2030 Strategic Plan.
