PAY WHAT YOU CHOOSE
The Citadel Theatre’s “Pay What You Choose” program, presented by Alberta Blue Cross, was developed with the intention of improving access to live, professional theatre for those who may not be able to commit to a regular price ticket. Our next pay what you choose events in the 2025/26 Season will be Big Stuff and Vinyl Cafe: The Musical.
To further improve access to entry for patrons, there will be two chances to get tickets: an email with links to purchase tickets online, and an in-person lineup on the day of the performance. Sign up to the online form below to be eligible for all future Pay What You Choose events.

BIG STUFF
Patrons who sign up to the online form by Tuesday, October 21st, will receive an email on October 22, 2025 at 12:00pm with exclusive ticket links to be able to purchase 2 Pay What You Choose tickets the following performance:
- Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 1:30pm
VINYL CAFE: THE MUSICAL
Patrons who sign up to the online form by Tuesday, November 4th, will receive an email on November 5, 2025 at 12:00pm with exclusive ticket links to be able to purchase 2 Pay What You Choose tickets to one of the following performances. The performances available for Pay What You Choose are:
- Sunday, November 9, 2025 at 7:30pm
- Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 1:30pm
- -Saturday, November 29, 2025 1:30pm
A limited number of tickets are available for online purchase and may sell out quickly. Your next opportunity will be the in-person lineup.
IN-PERSON LINEUP

If unsuccessful in purchasing tickets online, patrons have another chance to get same-day tickets to the November 8th matinee performance. Line up at the Box Office on November 8, 2025 starting at 11:30am and if you make it to the front of the line, you can pay what you choose for either 1 or 2 tickets. There is a limit of 2 tickets per person.
VINYL CAFE: THE MUSICAL
If unsuccessful in purchasing tickets online, patrons have another chance to get tickets to the September 14th evening performance. Line up at the Box Office on November 9, 2025 starting at 5:00pm and if you make it to the front of the line, you can pay what you choose for either 1 or 2 tickets to that night’s performance. There is a limit of 2 tickets per person.

RULES OF ENTRY
Patrons who were successful in purchasing Pay What You Choose tickets online are not eligible for additional tickets through the in-person line up. Failure to confirm payment and pick up your tickets may exclude you from future Pay What You Choose events. Tickets are limited and subject to availability. Not eligible for exchange or refund. Limit of 2 tickets per household. Individuals or patrons in the same household may not purchase more than two tickets under multiple profiles or accounts. Any individual who purchases more than 2 Pay What You Choose tickets will be excluded from future Pay What You Choose events.
