PAY WHAT YOU CHOOSE
The Citadel Theatre’s “Pay What You Choose” program, presented by Alberta Blue Cross, was developed with the intention of improving access to live, professional theatre for those who may not be able to commit to a regular price ticket.
Our next Pay What You Choose production is A Christmas Carol! To further improve access to entry, there will be two chances to get tickets with an online form and an in-person line up on the day of the performance. Sign up to the online form below to be eligible for all future Pay What You Choose events. Note: If you have previously signed up for this form, there is no need to sign up again.

Sign up using the link below to be eligible for Pay What You Choose. Anyone who signs up by November 20, 2024 will receive an email at 12:00pm on the 20th with a unique link to purchase 2 tickets to one of two performances. The performances take place on Sunday, November 24 @ 7:30pm and Saturday, November 30 at 1:30pm
Tickets are limited and are first come, first-served! Set a reminder to be the first in line! Once you access your unique link, you’ll have a choice of payment options to secure your tickets right then and there! Choose pay options from $5 up to $25 (or call the Box Office for another option).
Tickets have been selling out very quickly! If you miss your chance we have more tickets at the in-person lineup on November 24!
In-Person – November 24 :
If you were unsuccessful in purchasing tickets online, we have a few more tickets held when you come in person! Line up at the Box Office on November 24 starting at 5:00pm and if you make it to the front of the line, you can pay what you choose for either 1 or 2 tickets to that night’s performance. There is a limit of 2 tickets per person.
Please note: Entrants who were successful in purchasing Pay What You Choose tickets online are not eligible for additional tickets through the in-person line up. Failure to confirm payment and pick up your tickets may exclude you from future Pay What You Choose events. Tickets are limited and subject to availability. Not eligible for exchange or refund. Limit of 2 tickets per household. Individuals or patrons in the same household may not purchase more than two tickets under multiple profiles or accounts. Any individual who purchases more than 2 Pay What You Choose tickets will be excluded from future Pay What You Choose events.
