Masking

Masks are still mandatory (for people of all ages) to be worn throughout the building and for the duration of a performance, for the foreseeable future.

Please wear a fabric or surgical mask, fitted to cover your nose and mouth.

Masks are required to be worn while enjoying refreshments from our Lobby Bars. All drinks purchased from the Bar will be served with a straw. We ask that you place your straw under your mask in order to keep yourself and others safe while enjoying your beverage.

Masks may be removed if seated at designated Ghostlight Coffee House tables.

Food & Beverage

We will be opening the Lobby Bar for upcoming performances. Food and beverages will be allowed back inside the theatre.

Although the government mandate for masking has ended, The Citadel, as a private organization, for the safety and comfort of our patrons, has decided to keep the mask policy for the foreseeable future.

 

No. As of March 21, 2022, we are no longer checking vaccination QR codes.

Due to scheduling conflicts related to COVID-19, certain productions and performances were regrettably rescheduled or postponed.

If you held tickets to a rescheduled or postponed performance, The Box Office has reached out to with ticket options. If you have not received communication from Box Office, please contact 780.425.1820.

New dates of performances and productions will be announced as they are decided.

Your tickets are still valid on your account. The Box Office will reach out with rescheduling options and are happy to work with you to find the value of your tickets.

Please call the Box Office at 780-425-1820 or email at boxoffice@citadeltheatre.com if you would like to exchange your tickets into another show. You may exchange them into any other performance this season. Exchange fees will be waived for productions impacted by a postponement, however there may be price differences between productions.

No, seating is assigned but not socially-distanced. You may speak to an usher before the performance if you wish to make further seating arrangements, subject to availability.

No; however, digital playbills are available to view on your computer or mobile devices here.

A URL link will be sent in the reminder emails prior to the show and a QR code direct link will be available on signage throughout the lobby, as well as on cards available at the Box Office or as you enter the theatre.

On your order receipt you may see the delivery method as “Will Call”, this means you will pick up your tickets at the Box Office counter upon arrival for your performance.

We strongly encourage that you do not leave. If you must leave for any reason, you will be reseated in latecomer seating, should space be available.

Although we do encourage you to plan your trip to arrive at least 45 minutes before the doors open a handful of seating groups will be reserved for latecomers; however, these seats cannot be guaranteed.

Yes! Coat check is available.

Food and Beverages purchased from the Bar and Ghostlight Coffee House can be once again be consumed in the theatres.

The Bar will be serving all standard beverages. All drinks purchased from the Bar will be served with a compostable straw placed through our Citadel Sippy Cups. We ask that you place your straw under your mask in order to keep yourself and others safe while enjoying your beverage.

We are once again accepting sippy cup returns at the bars. Bring back a sippy cup to reuse and receive a $1.00 discount off your next beverage!

Foote Theatre School Frequently Asked Questions

All of our classes are currently being offered in-person.

Yes. Masks are still mandatory (for people of all ages) to be worn during classes and throughout the building. Please wear a fabric or surgical mask, fitted to cover your nose and mouth.

Removing your mask while eating or drinking is permitted while seated in designated spaces.

No. As of March 21, 2022, we are no longer checking vaccination QR codes.

The Theatre School entrances remain closed to the public, including parents. Parents are to drop their child off at the designated door but will not be allowed into the building.

Parents and guardians must discuss all of the rules with their child prior to attending class. Parents and guardians must check the temperatures of their children before coming to class. Students must stay home if they are sick, even if symptoms resemble a mild cold.

Alcohol-based sanitizer will be placed in all entrances and classrooms for use by staff, students, etc. Classrooms and all materials will be disinfected after each class.

Snacks and drinks will not be shared. Each student should bring their own snacks (NO NUTS) and water bottle with their name on it. Water fountains will be turned off.

If a student develops symptoms while at the Citadel, they will be sent home immediately. If they require a ride home, they will be isolated until they are picked up. All items used by the student while isolated will be cleaned and disinfected as soon as they are picked up. If items are unable to be cleaned and disinfected, they will be removed and stored in a sealed container for a minimum of 10 days. If a staff person develops illness at work, they will immediately remove themselves from contact with others and go home.

The FTS area of the Citadel will be locked at all times. No one will be permitted to enter unless they are staff or a student.

In that event we will switch to online programming where appropriate. No refunds will be given.
