For assistance with purchasing tickets or to register for a class, please contact the Box Office at 780.425.1820.
The Citadel does not have a formal dress code, however, we kindly ask that you refrain from wearing hats, as they may obstruct the view of other patrons. A patron may be denied entry if they are wearing obscene clothing or lacking a shirt, bottoms, or footwear.
For the comfort and safety of other patrons, please refrain from using scented products, such as perfumes, cologne and strongly scented hair-care products before coming to the theatre.
Recording of any video or audio is strictly prohibited. We kindly request that you turn off your phone before the performance starts to avoid disturbing the actors and fellow patrons with light or noise. Please note that relaxed performances and closed-captioned performances allow phone use during the performance.
We encourage you to plan your trip to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of your performance.
In the interest of minimising distraction to both our audience and actors, patrons who wish to be admitted after the performance has started (whether they have arrived late or are seeking re-admittance) will be seated, at an appropriate moment, as determined by Front of House staff. They will be seated in designated seats at the back of the theatre. Patrons are welcome to take their assigned seat at intermission during applicable performances.
On your order receipt you may see the delivery method as “Will call”, this means you will pick up your tickets at the Box Office counter upon arrival for your performance.
If you choose “digital tickets” they can be accessed at mytickets.citadeltheatre.com with the same username/email and password you use to purchase tickets from The Citadel Theatre. Please visit our website for more information on Digital Tickets.
If you would like to exchange your tickets to another performance or show, please call the Box Office at 780.425.1820 or email boxoffice@citadeltheatre.com. Exchanges are permitted to another date of the same production with at least 24 hours notice. There is a rebooking fee of $5 + GST per ticket. Rebooking fees are waived for Season Ticket Holders.
Performances may be rescheduled due to illness or other reason with little to no notice. We make every effort to contact patrons before the start of the performance by phone and email.
Your tickets are still valid on your account. Box Office will reach out with rescheduling options and are happy to work with you to find the value of your tickets.
