Andromeda Martin’s got a lot on her mind. Four years ago, on a summer night in 1972, Andy’s astrophysicist mother, Fern, mysteriously disappeared. Armed with only memories and her mother’s radio transceiver, Andy will do whatever it takes to learn the truth hidden in the cosmos. Tonight, she has to find the answers she needs or risk losing what was left behind. Project Andromeda is a larger-than-life ensemble piece about a quest for truth across boundless prairie skies.  

This world premiere by local playwright Mac Brock was commissioned for the Citadel Theatre Young Company. The 2025-26 Young Company students (ages 16-21) have been training together since September 2025. Project Andromeda is a culmination of their work in this specialized program designed for young adults pursuing careers in professional theatre.
