2026 Summer Camps

Join a dedicated ensemble of teens in our Performance Lab! This three-week camp will culminate in public performances of Disney’s Newsies JR. in the Rice Theatre on Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18.

Are you a teen with a creative vision for the stage? Working with professional designers and creators, our Production Lab students will have a hand in creating the prop, costume, and design elements for our Teen Performance Lab production of Disney’s Newsies JR., running in the Rice Theatre on Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18.

Join a dedicated ensemble of young actors in our Performance Lab! This two-week camp will culminate in public performances of Annie KIDS in the Rice Theatre on Friday, July 31.

“Can I have a definition?” Students in this specialized two-week Acting course will devise a brand new play about the trials and tribulations of students in the school Spelling Bee! Follow the twists and turns of creating this new story, including basic design elements to be incorporated into the camp showcase on Friday, July 10. Get ready for some serious F-U-N! Who knows, we may even need to use our Improv chops as special-guest spellers from the audience join us onstage…!

Calling all storytellers! Every day, we will read a new story together as a group, and then bring the story to life through character exercises and drama games. This half-day camp runs from 9:00am-noon and provides the perfect opportunity for kids to try out the Foote Theatre School!
