Punch up your performance skills in this exciting Spring Break camp! Students will work together to devise a contemporary play inspired by the swashbuckling “Cyrano de Bergerac,” complete with daily Stage Combat workshops from a local theatre professional. Explore character creation and physical storytelling techniques in this hands-on experience, culminating in a performance on the final day of camp (Thursday afternoon).

Spring Break camps run from 9:00am-4:00pm with one hour for lunch. Additional supervision is offered from 8:30am-9:00am and 4:00-4:30pm at no additional cost.

Musical Magic of Oz

Step into the spotlight in this wickedly exciting Spring Break camp! Designed for performers who are eager to elevate their performance skills, get ready to dive deep into the world of musical theatre as you train in acting, singing, and dancing. You’ll hone your vocal techniques, master choreography, and collaborate with fellow aspiring performers on devising an Ozian-inspired performance to be shared on the final day of camp (Thurdsay afternoon). Don’t miss your chance to take your talent to the next level!

Emerald City Adventures

  • Ages: 8-11

Spend your Spring Break travelling down the Yellow Brick Road! Through games, improvisation, and exploration of performance techniques, you will build confidence and teamwork skills while unlocking your inner creativity. Using L. Frank Baum’s classic novel, “The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz” as inspiration, you will spend the week creating a new, Ozian-inspired performance to be shared on the final day of camp (Thursday afternoon).

Students registering for this class will be divided into groups of 16. If you have questions or requests about groupings or class times, please contact us at theatreschool@citadeltheatre.com.

Spring Break camps run from 9:00am-4:00pm with one hour for lunch. Additional supervision is offered from 8:30am-9:00am and 4:00-4:30pm at no additional cost.

Story Explorers

  • Ages: 4-5
  • Date: August 5-8
  • Time: 9AM - 12PM

Calling all storytellers! Every day, we will read a new story together as a group, and then bring the story to life through character exercises and drama games. This half-day camp runs from 9:00am-noon and provides the perfect opportunity for kids to try out the Foote Theatre School!

Story Explorers! runs from 9am-noon. We also provide extended supervision from 8:30am-9:00am, and noon-12:30pm at no additional cost. Due to the shortened day, the lunch program is not extended to The Story Explorers!.
