ABOUT THE SHOW
When powerful newspaper publishers raise prices at the newsboys’ expense, the charismatic Jack Kelly rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions. Together, the newsies learn that they are stronger united and create a movement to fight for what’s right.
Inspired by the rousing true story of newsboys in turn-of-the-century New York City, Newsies JR. is a timeless story full of spirit and heart.
All summer camps run from 9:00am-4:00pm with one hour for lunch. We also provide extended supervision from 8:30am-9:00am and 4:00-4:30pm at no additional cost.
PLEASE NOTE: For the Teen Performance Lab, students will have a late start on Friday, July 17 as there will be evening performances. Students must be available for the evening of Friday, July 17 all day on Saturday, July 18 for the final public performances. A detailed schedule will be provided with acceptance letters.
